The band talks their next record(s), house shows in Alabama and more with NYC Live
In the categories of cool-shit-that’s-kept-me-sane-recently + next-best-thing-to-IRL, the beautifully done performances by local artists, captured by NYC Live and streamed to your ears/eyes/everything via Twitch, are pretty much at the top of the list.
Along with those shows, the NYC Live dream team has also been filming a short doc series—”Are We Home Yet?”—featuring the participating bands, ad I’m stoked to share that moving forward, these will all be premiered right here on BdBK!
On the 17th, we debuted the doc with Whiner (whose record Peace Out Cruel World is EXCELLENT), and next up… aka today… I’m stoked to share the episode featuring killer artists and performers and (+ my all-time fave babez), Moon Kissed!
Enjoy the episode above featuring Emily, Khaya and Leah now!
+ Catch the performances, which originally aired earlier this month, featuring Whiner and Moon Kissed here, and be sure to check out ANOTHER session featuring Moon Kissed live at Zoos Studio, where the band performed four tracks and we did a hard-hitting interview featuring the most important of topics: plans for their first show back (lighting themselves on fire might be involved), band origins (a New Year’s Eve party) and… if you listen closely… baby corn (don’t ask).
