Fresh off the release of their debut LP ‘Decent Human Beings,’ the NYC four-piece rock band shares their (100% serious) Brooklyn go-to’s.

We provided the prompts and The Deen told us about their favorite spots in the borough (+ took the opportunity to thank their German fans). Check out Decent Human Beings, which dropped October 23rd, and read on.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE…
VENUE:
Pete’s Candy Store. Tight fit for a four-piece and a drum kit! But it feels like playing in a New Orleans streetcar.
BAR:
Barb’s on Marcus Garvey and Jefferson… thanks for seeing Jon through unemployment.
BODEGA:
Jessica’s on Jefferson and Throop in Bed Stuy. If by some miracle you read this, Moses, Mr. Jon misses you dearly.
PIZZA SPOT:
At the risk of basicity, Joe’s gets the crust crispiness-to-thinness ratio just perfectly right. Also a pasta slice from Chiara’s…. never hurt nobody.
COFFEE SHOP:
We trend towards home-brewed Sleepytime Vanilla tea from Amazon Prime. We drink it before every show and do yoga and hold hands.
SUBWAY STOP:
Kingston Throop where a wizardly looking man once told me that if I looked at him any longer, he’d pee on me.
BREAKFAST:
Bacon Egg and Cheese from 19 Cafe
PARK:
Marsha P. Johnson, where one may imagine a young sailor boy skipping madly down the old cobblestone road to meet his long-awaited “cargo.”
RESTAURANT:
Chipotle
RECORD STORE:
Urban Outfitters
HANGOVER CURE:
Drink more hehe
