WHO: The Upstart Crows
SEEKING: “WANTED: SECOND GUITARIST/ BACK-UP VOCALIST”
ABOUT THE PROJECT: “The Upstart Crows is a alternative rock act playing in and around NYC as both a haunting solo acoustic act or a loud bombastic rock band. With their combination of folk, punk and Americana style; It promises that whatever crow show you go to you are gonna have a good time. We have released a self-titled 12-song album was released in 2018 and our single “Stuck” back in 2020. We have a whole new batch of songs and have big plans for future and in order to make that happen we need more people.”
DETAILS: “The Upstart Crows are looking for a second guitarist who can fill either role of lead or rhythm section depending on the song and can provide backing vocals (tenors preferred). Bonus if you are also able to play any level of keys. Someone who is willing to learn our existing songs for shows and touring and wants to help with the writing and recording process. We practice once or twice a week depending and have at least one show a month with plans to do more weekend tours. We want someone with a great attitude and who is willing to contribute to the growth of the band by assisting with booking and promotion.”
