Fresh off the release of “Dead Fred”—the newest single from the dynamic duo—Cammy and Johnny share some of their favorite BK spots

Last week, the duo comprised of Brooklyn BFFs Cammy Baby and Johnny Dynamite released their new single, “Dead Fred,” which the former described as “a song about loss and the way that we deal with emotions like grief.”

Check that out—as well as their 2019 album A Harrowing Account—and spend your weekend bouncing around to some of the band’s local staples, which they recently shared over email.

COFFEE SHOP:

Love, Nelly… lovely service.

SUBWAY STOP:

Flushing J/M. Lots of memories hanging in that area and going to Dynamite’s practice space.

BREAKFAST:

When we meet up for brunch we just skip straight to the sushi lunch special at Beijing, Ridgewood. [Editor’s note: not Brooklyn, but CLOSE ENOUGH!]

PARK:

We tend to stay out of parks, Cammy will get lost, however you can catch us walking down Wilson Ave.

RESTAURANT:

Kanahashi in Greenpoint. This is where we go for fancy sushi.

RECORD STORE:

Human Head. 25-cent recs on record store day. I’ll stock up for the year here.

HANGOVER CURE: 

Baby – Alcoholics Anonymous;
Dynamite – McDonald’s and RedBull.
