The Nyack-to-NYC rock outfit shares their favorite spots in Brooklyn (and beyond)
———————————————————————————————
Best of Brooklyn is our newest profile format, and we’re stoked to feature Impossible Colors, who recently(-ish) released a music video for their song “Different Frames.” We sent the prompts, and the band (through member Scott Greenberg) sent their (mostly) Brooklyn answers.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE…
VENUE:
Shea4ever…but after that, I’d say a toss up between Trans Pecos and The Footlight.
BAR:
Coyote Club for the neighborhood hangs. If we’re going to the Manhattan, 124 Rabbit Club is the spot for crazy beers and the bartenders have incredible music taste/knowledge.
BODEGA:
if they have chicken cutlets, I’ll be there.
PIZZA spot:
Chris says: Joe’s. On 14th st. The only slice that should ever exist. Scott says: Rocco Pizza in Bed Stuy, maybe not my favorite every but we used to practice down the block from there and it was the go-to spot
COFFEE SHOP:
SUBWAY STOP:
I can’t remember the last time I rode the subway. It’s been a weird 6 months.
BREAKFAST:
Donuts! In NYC: its all about Dough. But gotta give a shout out to Boxer Donut in Nyack, NY for being the best.
PARK:
Herbert Von King, cuz it’s a block away from my house and I’m there everyday. But prospect park is very special.
RESTAURANT:
Tacos El Bronco in Sunset Park is the best.
Sal, Kris, and Charlie’s Deli in Astoria makes the greatest italian hero ever.
RECORD STORE:
Not in Bk/NYC. But Kiam/Main Street Beat in Nyack is the best. They always have great stuff in stock, always playing great music in the shop, and the owners Jennifer and Amy are great people, who also make great music.
HANGOVER CURE:
Sleep for 2 weeks straight.
